Dark types of natural stone, such as dark granite, Belgian bluestone, blue stone, etc., will show wear through use, manifesting as dull, grey walkways or spots. HG natural stone colour diluter (product 48) is a professional product which deepens the colour of your natural stone and brings it back to life. In addition, this unique composition impregnates, nourishes and protects the natural stone against dirt and stains caused by water or other liquids. It does not make the surface slippery or disrupt the natural stone's breathing process. The darker the natural stone, the more effective the HG colour diluter.
Instructions for use
- Clean the surface, preferably with HG tile cleaner extra strong (product 20), to ensure that the surface is completely clean, free of dust, grease, wax and polish
- Remove any cement and/or mortar residues with HG tile cement residue remover (product 11) or HG tile cement residue remover (product 12); for marble, Belgian bluestone and other calciferous natural stone, remove the lime and/or cement residue with HG natural stone cement residue remover (product 31)
- Then allow the surface to dry thoroughly
- For floors: allow to dry for 24 hours if underfloor heating is on
- Switch underfloor heating off 12 hours before treatment
- For other surfaces allow 24 hours drying time
- Wear gloves during application
- Put a small amount of HG colour diluent on the enclosed cloth, and apply the product to the surface in a circular motion
- Then rub HG colour thinner with a clean, lint-free cloth
- After a maximum of 5 to 10 minutes, the HG colour solvent is absorbed into the surface, after which the excess material must be removed very thoroughly with a dry cloth (possibly using white spirit)
- Repeat the treatment on highly absorbent surfaces until the surface no longer absorbs the product (colour dilution maximum)
- If gloss is desired, the surface should be buffed with a clean, dry lint-free cloth after 30-40 minutes
- After 4 hours the treated surface is usable/ walkable and fully loadable again after 3 days
- After use, clean the neck and cap well before closing the bottle, so that the cap can be easily removed for the next use
- Consumption: 50 ml is good for approx. 5 m²
